Today is the last day here in Jerusalem. This was a very powerful and emotional day for me. Our day began at the Garden of Gethsemane. There was a beautiful church and a garden where Jesus prayed to his father for a different ending, but the result was “Father, your will be done” (Matthew 26:36)....

So far this tour has been an amazing study of the historical sites and facts of Israel and how all this information made the Bible come to life. Today was a different day, a day rich in awe that caused such a tremendous feeling of an emotional connection to Jesus. It started with the Western Wall...

Walking into Masada made me appreciate the architecture of what was once there and how large the property was. What I took out of this site was the heroism that once fled there from the Roman Empire. Only a couple hundred Jews held out within the citadel against thousands of Roman soldiers below....

This morning we explored the Valley of Zin, I thought that it looked a lot like the Grand Canyon. The beauty and peacefulness of the canyon bottom was almost overwhelming. I just wanted to sit and take it all in. We hiked some steep steps that were cut into the canyon wall and came to a resting...

Our first stop of the day was at the Yad HaShmona Biblical Gardens. The history that I was able to experience there was very moving. In Isaiah 5:2 it says, “…he plowed the land, cleared its stones, and planted it with the best vines. In the middle he built a watchtower and carved a winepress in...
