GTI Travel, Inc. dba GTI Tours and its authorized representatives act solely as agents for the Tour Participants and/or airline, hotel and various vendors in all matters pertaining to travel by air, sea or surface. GTI Travel shall not be or become liable for any loss, injury, damage or delay to individuals or property in connection with any transportation accommodations or other services resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, dangers at sea, fire machinery or equipment breakdown, sickness, epidemics, pandemics, epidemics, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, pilferage, labor disputes, strikes, riots, thefts, government restraints, hostilities, civil disturbances, act of terrorism of any kind, wars whether declared or not, losses or delays or additional expenses resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports, visas and or other travel documents beyond GTI Tours control. Neither GTI Travel nor its affiliates or representatives shall become liable or responsible for any additional expenses or liability sustained or incurred by tour participants as a result of tour cancellations or itinerary changes whenever in the sole judgment of the operator they are deemed necessary for the comfort, convenience, safety and/or operation of the tour, including but not limited to airline and hotel accommodations, site revisions, itinerary re-routing and/or leadership substitutions. Registration and payment of tour deposit constitutes your acceptance of the tour program conditions and Statement of Responsibility.
If the tour is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances of any reason, the minimum $200.00 administrative fee for cancellations after deposit applies. (See payment/cancel table specific to each trip).
There may be additional cancel fees assessed based on nonrefundable contractual deposits paid to suppliers by GTI Tours at date of cancel. Compensation may come in the form a credit voucher and may not be by monetary means.
GTI Tours is not responsible for other travel arrangements that you or a third party have made outside of GTI Tours and which may be affected by our cancellations.
If a person in a party cancels and there is a room change caused by this cancellation (such as a double to a single), charges for the new room type will be the responsibility of the remaining party.
ILLNESS OR ABSENCE: Early return expenses are the participant’s responsibility. There is no refund for absence or early departure from your GTI study tour, including but not limited to missed hotels, transfers, meals, and cruises or optional add on extensions. GTI Tours suggest you to look into travel insurance to check on possible coverage options for such circumstances. GTI Tours makes no representation or guarantees concerning reimbursement, scope of coverage, or other aspects of any travel insurance policy or claim.
What CAN be refunded? Some tours may require a minimum number of travelers to operate. If GTI ascertains that a tour is not viable, the affected traveler will be notified and fully compensated.
