The Journey Begins!

Myself and 17 others from Real Life Church are currently experiencing the journey of a lifetime as we tour through Israel from April 21 through May 1, and you're invited to travel along with us! Each day we will be publishing a blog article, highlighting the places that we were able to visit that day, and some of the key things that we learned and experienced. Along with the entries will be photos and videos to help you get a greater picture of what we've been able to see on the journey. We also welcome you to comment in the space below each entry, to which I'll try and respond as often as I can if you have any questions about our trip.

We had a great day of travel today from Los Angeles to Tel Aviv, with a very brief layover in Istanbul. There were no major complications, other than some slight travel delays, and everyone made it to the hotel and are getting settled in and prepared for tomorrow. We were greeted to fireworks dotting the sky on the drive to the hotel, in celebration of Israel's Independence Day. What a great start to the journey already!
