Taking in the Meaning

We started this beautiful day with gorgeous weather and cool breezes. We again drove through scenic country taking many pictures. Upon arrival in Geneva we went to a beautiful park and ate a picnic lunch soaking in the warm sunshine.

We then walked the small streets of Geneva locating the auditorium where John Calvin preached and learned of all his contributions to the Reformation. He was an important spiritual and political leader using Protestant principals to establish a religious government.

We learned about the Geneva Bible being the first English Bible to use both modern chapter and verse divisions for the whole Bible.

We then wandered through the church of King George taking in all the meaning this church represented.
