Zurich

After spending the night at the Crown Plaza Hotel (where we will stay two nights) in Zurich, we started our marvelous day at the International Baptist Church worshipping with our brothers and sisters in Christ and had plenty of great snacks afterwards!

We then headed into Zurich to learn more about Zwingli and the Reformation beginnings. We saw the church where Zwingli preached with the support of the Zurich Council and learned about his forward thinking moving the church in a new direction. He was the one who promoted Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone), making believers think about all their traditionalisms vs. the truth of scripture.

We will have another great meal this evening (all the food has been fantastic; many of us will come home with bigger waistlines!) and then head to Geneva tomorrow morning.
