Day 04 - Sat Oct 20

We started bright and early at Mt. Arbel. This mountain is where many rabbis would go to pray for those closest to them, and where Jesus most likely went to pray before choosing his disciples. Apparantly Jesus was one tough-cookie because this was quite a hike!! We scaled the rock walls, but got a glorious view of the Sea of Galilee at the top. Then we took a short drive to Capernaum, the town Peter would have lived in and where many of Jesus’ miracles were performed, then took a quick stop to read the Sermon on the Mount. We ended the day with a dusk boat ride on the Sea of Galilee!
