Day 05 - Sun Oct 21

We began the morning bright and early and were sitting on the shore of the Galilee by 8AM. We spent time with Jesus, asking him: “what does Jesus think of me?”. As you can imagine, it was a beautiful morning. We then stopped at Korazim! We conducted our own little synagogue service in the ruins of the city’s synagogue. Our next stop: Cesarea Phillipi. We saw where the pagans would have believed the “gates of hell” were at, and talked about how God’s Kingdom has power to darkness as we hiked nearby Mt Hermon!! Then we took a quick stop at Mt Bental, where our guide Charlie caught us up about Israeli and Syrian history, and we were able to see the border. We ended the eventful day on a GREAT high note with baptisms in the Jordan River!!! We shared our baptism service with cattle crossing through, and sang praises to celebrate!
