Day 07 - Coastal Plain: Megiddo, Mt. Carmel, Caesarea Maritima, Rabbinic Tunnels

Good evening! We began making our way to Jerusalem this morning with several stops along the way. Our first was Megiddo, the location of one of Solomon’s palaces, as well as the location of the future battle of Armageddon. There are remnants of 30 different civilizations stacked on top of each other at Megiddo. Then, we went on to Mt. Carmel where Elijah changed the prophets of Baal in 1 Kings 18. Our last stop was Caesarea on the sea where Herod the Great built his north place on the Mediterranean Sea. We ended our night at our hotel in Jerusalem and before we turned in, a walk in the city!
