Day 5

We began by hiking up the Mount of the Beatitudes, and there - while we all looked out over the Sea of Galilee - Michael read the Sermon on the Mount from the Bible.

We then drove through the Hula Valley to the Springs of Dan where we walked through the ruins of the northern temple.

Next, we traveled to Caesarea Philippi, learned all about the city’s history, walked up to the Temple of Pan cave, and then hiked to the falls.

Later we visited the Golan Heights, learned about its history, and walked through the old military bunker before returning to another breathtaking sunset over the Sea of Galilee and enjoying dinner together.
