Another amazing day

Today we visited the incredible ancient city of Pisidia Antioch where Paul, in his first missionary journey, preached to both Jew and Gentile.

The city sat on a hill, covering 47 acres, and to view it firsthand presented a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding countryside on another lovely, sunny day in Turkey.

As we walked the stone-block roads and saw the ancient ruins, there was a sense of being in a place of spiritual significance….the beginning of the Jesus movement.

It was humbling to sit (very near the actual location where Paul preached) and listen to Craig read Paul’s words from Acts 13 to both Jew and Gentile proclaiming the Good News of Jesus as Savior. A definite highlight!

A second highlight was visiting a young lady who makes wedding hats in her home. Watching the process of this dying art was very intriguing. There were several female relatives present and it was endearing to experience their gracious and loving hospitality.
