Jerusalem

We are here in the city; taking in all of the beauty, history and experiences.

I will be keeping today’s blog short and there will not be a piece tomorrow(Thursday). I will put longer pieces together about our time in Jerusalem on our way home.

We started our day in the City of David, then we experienced Hezikah’s Tunnels, saw the Dead Sea Scrolls, enjoyed Jerusalem bagels, hiked to the top of the Herodion, and finished our day In Bethlehem at the Church of the Nativity.

We depart early Friday, February 15 at 7:20am local time and fly to Istanbul. We depart Istanbul at 3pm local time and arrive in Chicago at 5:55pm CST. Most of us then will fly to Minneapolis arriving home at 11pm CST on Friday, February 15!
