Day 04 - Galilee Boat Ride, Tabgha, Mount of Beatitudes, Capernaum, Chorazin, Mount Arbel

Today was another amazing day. Today began our shift into the Galilee and teachings more focused on Jesus ministry. We started with devotions at the shore of the Galilee as we discussed Jesus healing the demoniac at Susita. We then drove up to Mount Abel and were encouraged by the teaching that Jesus saw the disciples straining at the oars. He sees us when we find ourselves in difficult times as well.

Next, we headed to Tabgah where Jesus reinstated Peter. This was a wonderful location where we thought about Jesus also inviting the disciples to bring what they had to breakfast. Jesus already had breakfast prepared, and yet he invites them to bring what they can.

We then travel to Capernaum, where Jesus spent three years of his ministry, and Chorazin. These are two of the cities that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 11 when he said ‘woe to you.’ He was not happy with these cities which includes Bethsaida, which we will visit tomorrow.

Our final stop will be a wonderful boat ride on the sea of Galilee.
