Day 00 - ARRIVAL

The time has finally arrived as we started the long day of travel on our journey to Turkey. This was a trip that was originally planned for Nov of 2020 but due to the Covid pandemic it had to be postponed. The Michigan crew met in Holland and took a bus over to Chicago to catch our flight to Istanbul. After a short layover we caught a domestic flight to Izmir and a bus ride to our hotel in Soma where we met up with the rest of our group. Everyone is tired from the long journey but we are excited to get started tomorrow as we step into the world of the New Testament. Continue to follow our trip!
