Day 03 - Galilee: Katzrin (cultural experience), Gamla, Caesarea Philippi, Tel Dan

A Penguin's Perfect Day: More Adventures in the Holy Land 🌞🐧

Hey there, fellow adventurers! Today was another incredible day of my pilgrimage in the Holy Land, and I can't wait to share all the amazing experiences with you. I'm feeling extra blessed because the lovely Molly took me under her wings 🤗, showing me remarkable places and taking extra special care of me (let's just ignore that tiny incident on the altar, shall we? 😅).

The weather was absolutely perfect today, with plenty of warm sunshine 🌞 to keep this penguin happy. Here's a snapshot of the fantastic places we visited:

Katzrin was a real treat! I got to make bread 🍞 with my newfound human friends Ethan, Evan, Micha, and Judah. We even learned to press olive oil together 🫒! During our time there, I met another stunning peacock-feathered friend 🦚. Birds of a feather, am I right?

We also explored a stone house, and I couldn't help but imagine what it must have been like to listen to Jesus teach in such an intimate setting 🏠.

Our journey continued at Caesarea Philippi, where we saw the Rock of Peter and the Temple of Pan 🏛️. The history and stories of these places were absolutely captivating!

Lunchtime was a delightful picnic 🥪, and I must say, you humans know how to put together a feast! We enjoyed our meal near the Jordan River, which was crystal clear, cool, and refreshing 💦.

Finally, at Tel Dan, we saw the Gate of Abraham and an ancient altar 🔍. Talk about stepping back in time!
