Help support our friends in Israel in their time of need.
“He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Each morning we are told the parable of the sower. As we walk the ancient paths and hear the stories, do we merely listen, or really HEAR?
We enjoyed the beauty of nature that is Tel Dan. We saw there Jeroboam’s temple remains of blatant sin against God, but it was wise in the people’s eyes. How many sacrifices do we make for kingdom efficacy? God is calling us to do more!
At Caesarea Philippi, again we see a beautiful park, waterfalls, and a cave, but we learn the reality of the ruins of the evil Temple of Pan. Can you say PANdemonium? And yet Jesus said to Peter, “This is where I will build my church.” (Matthew 16) It’s an offensive move. Marty challenged us not to play defense so much.
Each lesson at each site, we see with our eyes a confirmation of the story, and it gives us a chance to recommit ourselves to our partnership with God.
