We have arrived!

We had a pretty boring flight from LAX to Istanbul, but the connecting flight to Tel Aviv was already boarding before we exited the plane! A “mad dash” of 50+ people and the willingness to hold the plane for our group allowed us to all board and reach Israel safely.

We gathered together to collect our bags and found out one bag was left behind in the mad dash in Istanbul. With any luck, that bag will beat us to tonight’s hotel and all will be well.

This morning we’re gathering for breakfast and then heading out to start our study tour.

Oh, one fun find was at the Istanbul airport women’s restroom. Imagine our surprise and wonder to come across this type of “toilet!” The bathroom attendees laughed at us.
