We have arrived!

We arrived in Israel…all safe and sound, and all accounted for! For some of us the journey began on a Crossroads bus at 2:30pm, for others the journey began from Kansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Virginia or South Haven, Michigan. It’s fun to see the group gelling already - lots of conversation, a few game of cards, swapping medicine, laughing, and sharing the anticipation of something great!

Libby pulled us all together in Chicago before we boarded the plane and reminded us that God in His word calls Israel the most beautiful place on earth (Ez. 20:6), a place he found for his people (Deut. 11:12). She challenged each of us to come with eyes to see and ears to hear. Explaining the Hebrew brought new meaning to those two phrases. “Eyes to see” is gaining God’s perspective. “Ears to hear” is walking out that perspective with obedience. Hear in Hebrew is the same word as Obey.
