A truly unique day!

This morning began brisk and bright with our group waking in our tents. It was a true glamping experience. Waking to the crisp air and cloudless sky was amazing. We then took a two hour jeep ride into the wadi. The views were spectacular! There was nothing to be seen for miles. The highlight of the jeep excursion was visiting a real Bedouin camp and meeting the gentleman who lives in this harsh environment. He generously offered us tea and invited us into his private tent. We had the opportunity to ask questions and learn of his lifestyle. We then traveled to Aquba and crossed the border into Israel where we went through and extensive customs experience. We ended our day by arriving at the Dead Sea and much of the group enjoyed floating in the chilly water. What a way to spend another amazing day!
