Day 07 - Ephesus, Ephesus Museum, Turkish Rug Center

RESTORING LOVE.

Today, we got the massive privilege to set foot in the famous ancient city of Ephesus as we talked about what it means to love God’s way! We did our best to study every square foot of this important city where our spiritual heroes walked: the apostle Paul, Priscilla, Aquila, Timothy, Epaphras, Luke, Mary, the apostle John, Erastus, Gaius, and so many more key leaders in the early church! It was just fantastic. We studied what happened in Scripture in the very places those events took place! It was absolutely life-changing.

We spent time in the Ephesus Museum to see the incredible artifacts from the places we visited earlier in the day which always helps our team connect the dots. After a great lunch and ice cream, we did some shopping and went to the temple of Artemis where we studied our last of the seven letters to the churches of Revelation. I pray that it was a meaningful conclusion to our seven churches study and that the Lord will use an assignment I gave everyone at the end for His glory.

We wrapped up the day with a cultural experience to see how Turkish rugs are made before heading back to the hotel to celebrate a baptism of one of our team members in the Aegean Sea (thank you Jesus!) and having wonderful conversations around dinner. It’s been a spectacular day and I’m praying for a wonderful conclusion to our teaching tomorrow on our last full day in ancient Asia Minor.

Thank you for praying; please continue to pray as we move into that final teaching. God bless you, friends!

Sincerely,

Tommy
