Day 00 - ARRIVAL IN ISRAEL

Shalom from Israel! Our group has arrived from all over the United States – Missouri, Texas, Arizona, Arkansas…

We are all very tired and very happy to be here.

Our tour begins in earnest tomorrow morning, but this evening we’re staying in Tel Aviv and enjoying a relaxing and restful couple of hours on the Mediterranean Sea.

We would be so grateful if you’d be praying for a good night of sleep, so we all have the energy we need to dive in tomorrow. Pray for God’s protection over our group – for our safety, for our health.

Pray for a supernatural presence – yes, God’s presence with us, but also our presence with Him and with one another. I know every person is coming with distractions, things that are weighing on us, stressors back home. Pray that we’d be able to leave behind what needs to be left behind, to trust God’s plan and purpose for our time, and that we’d be attentive to how He is going to show up.

Pray for our leaders as they prepare to bring God’s Word to us throughout our time. Pray for Ronen, our Israeli guide, and for Meir, our incredible bus driver – both dear friends of GTI and the most humble men in how they serve every participant on every tour.

We anxiously await to see what God does in and through our experience here and in and through old friends coming back together and new ones that have yet to be made.
