Help support our friends in Israel in their time of need.
Wow, what an amazing day! Visiting the Temple Mount, being at the Western Wall and going underground to see the massive stones was a great way to begin the day. Being that close to the actual place where the Ark of the Covenant and Solomon’s temple once stood was surreal. Walking through Hezekiah’s Tunnel was definitely a highlight. It’s hard to imagine the hard work and precision needed to complete a project of that scale. Sitting by the Pool of Siloam, I could step back in time and imagine the man, blind since birth, being healed by Jesus, and then being made to tell and retell his story.
Finishing off the day at Yad Vashem was very emotional and moving. The Jewish people have suffered greatly at the hands of others. God continues to restore them and call them to himself because they are His chosen people. I have a new found appreciation and respect for the Jewish people, their culture and traditions. They remain God’s chosen people, and I pray all will know and recognize Jesus as the Messiah.
