Day 02 - Negev: Masada, Bedouin Hospitality, Tel Arad, Dead Sea

This trip has been incredible so far and it's only day 2. History is all around you and every bit of it matters. One of the most meaningful things for me so far was getting to see the shepherds guiding the sheep at the Bedouin Hospitality experience. Having that visual connected to Psalm 23 was a powerful experience. I'll never look at that psalm the same way again. God is our shepherd and guides us peacefully and gracefully. When we're in the desert, we learn to rely on God and the desert gives us just enough. There's a lot of trust that comes from relying on God in the desert and I have so much more of an understanding and appreciation of exactly how wonderful it is to rely on God.
