Help support our friends in Israel in their time of need.
Today was day one of touring the land and learning the purposeful significance God has provided to His Promised Land and to His people. We began our day in a terraced garden in the hill country of Judea at Kiriath-Jearim. The chapter of 1 Samuel 4-7 came alive for us, as the Ark of the Covenant was kept here nearly 20 years.
A big highlight of the day was standing atop of the mountain that the Philistines had camped on with Goliath overlooking the Valley of Elah. This is where Goliath came to his death by the smooth stone of a young shepherd boy in 1 Samuel 17.
We ended the day singing praises in a giant cave shaped like a bell in an ancient rock quarry. Absolutely beautiful!! Ronen & Maher with GTI tours made our day!!
