Help support our friends in Israel in their time of need.
Well what a week we had, this has exceeded our expectations this is the bible in 3D today our day started with Katzrin which is a reproduction of life in a village which depicted life in the time of Jesus. We got to bake our own bread the way they would have done it back then, worked an olive press and actually sat inside the replica of what would have been a home (upper room an all) of a stone house. Interesting fact we learned is that carpenter’s in those days actually worked with stones to build rather than wood. We learned what kind of faith the Jewish people had at the time was far as provisions was concerned, they always would have enough.
Next, we went to Mount Bengal and toured an old Israeli army bunker. Although very windy and cold we were treated to fascinating stories of the regions history of conflicts, and I love the way our guide Ronen simplifies things, just amazing.
Next was Cessarea Philippi where our Guide talked to us about the Greek mythology of Pan and some very ungodly dark pagan things that went on in the area. Then we looked at scripture in Matthew 16 where Jesus took his disciples to this area and asked them “who do people say that I am?” Then Pastor Steve talked to us about Jesus being our rock of salvation.
After Lunch, we headed to Tel-Dan where we hiked and view some very beautiful land but listen as Ronen taught again how in Judges 18 the they came to possess the land not in the right way and how these people continued to make compromises.
