Day 00 - ARRIVAL
Hello family and friends! We arrived safe and sound in Izmir, Turkey super late after 24+ hours. What an adventure that last few hours of the trip were! Flight delays, sideways rain and wind, and a bumpy hour-long flight into a very dark city. We all were so thankful to be on the warm charter bus and taken directly to our hotel. Hot, fresh baked cookies awaited us, as well as fresh sandwiches, which we inhaled just before falling into bed for a few hours before breakfast. Goodnight from Turkey!
