Day 07 - Jerusalem Zoo, Elah Valley, Shabbat dinner

It's hard to believe we’ve come to the finale of this wonderful Heart of God tour. Today we visited the Jerusalem Zoo where we split into teams to find as many animals as we could that are mentioned in the Bible. This afternoon we found ourselves in a dry riverbed in the Elah Valley choosing five smooth stones, just like young David. And finally tonight, after a sumptuous Shabbat meal, we gathered on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Back where our journey had begun. It’s hard to believe that a week ago we were strangers. We’ve played, laughed, cried, sung, danced, and walked our way into the muchness of life together as God’s people.

George had asked us to think of a word that described the trip for us. I think it’s a fitting conclusion for all of you who have been following along on our trip to read them, and I’d love for you to share some of your own!
