A True Disciple

The question is are you willing, to walk, to hear, to see, to follow in the footsteps of the Rabbi and be His true disciple?

A true disciple does not to just walk with a teacher, hear him talk and see how he acts but the goal and purpose is to change yourself to be just like your rabbi. These disciples put off their old lives and walked in the dust of Jesus and then after they saw the resurrection He promised and were sure of His holy nature He told them, 

“Go into all the world and teach every nation...behold I will be with you even unto the end of the world”, and then He ascended. 

Now what kind of disciple am I? Could I embark on this journey and see it with my eyes and learn with my ears but not be shaped in the heart? Will I be pricked? I tell you the truth I hesitate to step on this ground the same way the disciples stepped in the footsteps of their good Rabbi. They took His words and changed the whole world with a passion! Am I supposed to do the same? If I follow in their footsteps as a true disciple, yes.
