We can get through anything as long as He is by our side

Todays adventures were by far some of the most exhausting but I can honestly say I have never felt more held and safe in the savior’s hands than I do after today.

My knees were hurt and I was tired but none of that seemed to matter as we reached the top - Masada. All the stops along the way, all of the moments that it was hard to breathe, all of the times I felt like my legs were going to give out beneath me seemed to not even matter. We had made it and we had done it together.

Just yesterday we had talked about hospitality and the idea of loving on people and today I was watching it being lived out. Every step of the way, every moment I felt like I was going to quit there was always someone there to spur me on. The encouragement never stopped. It didn't matter how many times you had to stop or how long it took you to get up the mountain, there was never a moment where someone was left alone.

It's funny how God uses experiences like today to remind us of His great love for us. In our darkest moments and toughest times, in the moments when we just want to throw in the towel, God is our constant! He is constantly there reminding us that we can get through anything as long as He is by our side.

He is our strength. He is our joy. He is our everything.

Israel is incredible and its amazing watching God move here. I can't wait to see what else the Lord has for all of us here.
