They chose to live this way

Our hearts were so blessed today as we had a Big Day which started as we climbed toward mt Arbel

We started out with a wonderful stay at Ein Gev Kibbutz. Greeted and blessed by our friends there.

We were touched and challenged by George as he taught us that Jesus' followers didn't have to live the way they did. They chose to. We have a choice also—which God will we choose?

Jesus encounter many diversified cultures in his day. He talked with them, he ate with them, he mingled with them, he influenced them. We are challenged to to the same in our world.

God said "Let there be light."

May we be light where ever we are placed at work schools Neighborhood and community. Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable in thy sight. My God and my redeemer.

Today we made our way to the shores on the Sea of Galilee we began our adventure on the boat ride. George gave us quiet time to reflect on what it must have been like for Jesus and the disciples during their encounters.

Even Winds whispered His Name
Afterward we went to see the 2000 year old boat at the museum and learned how the boat was removed from the water and preserved and we thought about the possibility of Jesus being in the same type of fishing boat. Our hearts were stirred to think about the lessons for us to apply in today's world.

We finished our day at the beautiful dan hotel in Jerusalem where we were hosted by the Israel ministry of Tourism. Tom Harrington and GTI Staff were recognized and awarded a plaque as they were honored for 22 years of service in bringing tours to Israel. We remembered our verse, "I will bless them that bless thee." We were honored to be awarded a plaque of recognition. May God be glorified as we endeavor to honor him in all we do and give him our best to bless.
