Help support our friends in Israel in their time of need.
We’ve arrived at the final touring day of our trip. We said “good-bye” to the Holy Land Trust interns and archaeological diggers earlier this afternoon. The rest of us will be departing for Ben-Gurion Airport at 4 AM tomorrow. We will have a full day of travel ahead! After eighteen days in Israel and Palestine, we are all different people. Through studying biblical geography and visiting archaeological and modern sites, our eyes are have been opened to another level of richness in God’s word. We have met people on both sides of this land’s conflict, hearing their stories and sharing in their lives. We have heard cries for peace and justice and are trying to make sense of the suffering in this land. As a group we have grown closer to one another, and we leave this experience with new and deeper friendships.
Thank you for your prayers, and thanks for following our trip on this blog! God has been working in and among us. Please continue to pray for safety as we travel home tomorrow and for the other students in our group who will be here for the next couple weeks. Soli Deo gloria!
