This trip will enrich your understanding of the Scriptures by introducing you to the vivid context in which the New Testament was written.
Done right, a study tour can be relaxing and fun! Together with Rich Ferreira and Rich Liverance, we'll explore the past and present of Turkey. Each day we'll unpack what we've learned in the context of biblical history as well as our daily faith.
In addition to visiting the ancients cities where the Apostle Paul lived and taught, we'll also enjoy some amazing local hospitality.
Brian Haynes serves as lead pastor of Bay Area Church and Christian School in League CIty, Texas. He is a graduate of Baylor University, Southwestern Seminary, and Liberty Theological Seminary where he earned a D.Min for his work in discipleship and family ministry. Pastor Brian is an author having written several books including his latest, “War in the Wilderness.” Brian has been leading discipleship experiences in Israel and Turkey since 2006. His study and knowledge of the biblical text, culture, context, and the land, as well as the Jewish roots of the Christian faith is extensive. His commitment to leading people along the ancient paths of the Bible is fueled by the fruit he sees in the lives of people in group after group. His favorite phrase describing the experience…”You will never be the same.”

We have spent years developing relationships with experienced guides and drivers because they are an integral part of a study tour. And if you already have a trusted guide/driver you prefer that’s ok too!
