You’re invited to join us on a 9 day, all-inclusive Jordan, Israel Study Tour.
You will be immersed in the land and lessons of the Bible as you’re led on a journey through Scripture while your local guide and driver will bring the past and present culture of Jordan and Israel alive to all your senses.
Unlike other Holy Land tours, this tour is solely focused on bringing Scripture to life through first-hand experiences in the places the stories actually happened. An all-inclusive trip ensures you're free to focus on each moment without worrying about lodging, tips, transportation, entrance fees, food or water.
We’ve built into our study tours everything you need for an enjoyable and educational trip. We want you to be fully focused on the lessons and experiences you’ll encounter, and not be distracted by local tipping practices, transportation arrangements, or meal planning.
We believe that as a Study Tour participant you’re not a mere tourist—you’re an investment! This is evident from the moment you book your trip, through to the time you return home to share what you’ve learned with your friends and family.
Our seasoned guides and ministry partners do so much more than handle the details and keep things on schedule. Our local guides have personal experience and intimate knowledge of the places and events you’ll examine, and our ministry partner’s teachers have a shepherd’s heart and a passion for God’s word.
The guides have been so personable and so knowledgeable and so friendly. There's just never a bad day for these guys. They make you very comfortable throughout the trip.
— SteveWe got to walk the land and it made our bibles come alive, and my son being 17, he needed it to come alive. It solidified his foundation in his faith.
— JoeyGTI has done such a great job of taking care of everything... allowing us to feel at home and really focus on the things we needed to from the very beginning.
— JordanHebrews 11 has long been known as “Hall of Fame of Faith” because in and through the lives of these legendary people, God wrote His story, and He is not finished writing. The Story Continues through us! On this all-inclusive Biblical Study Tour, the Text comes alive as we journey to where the story begins in slavery, to where the enemy was defeated at Calvary, on to the Galilee where Jesus lived, learned, and taught, and then to the world where He sent His disciples to win for the Father’s Glory. A world, which in so many ways is not very different from our own. We will visit numerous World Heritage Sites, and, aside from our night under the stars, we will lodge at 4-star hotels or better. This is a premier tour, moderately to strenuously paced; very strong hiking shoes are recommended, along with a backpack capable of holding at least 2 liters of water– crucial for our Sinai overnight.
Most days, one should be prepared to hike 5-8 miles; however, if one needs to “punch out” for a hike, that will be okay. This trip is full of surprises, remarkable teachings, and insights, and has proven to be life-changing for past participants. We trust the same will be true for you as well as you experience the Bible come alive in remarkable and surprising ways!

After we land, we head to our hotel, get checked in, freshen up, and settle in. We then board our bus and begin our studies with a visit to a most remarkable site. George, through his on-site teaching, will unpack the remarkable commitment of one of Jesus’ most passionate contemporaries, lived out in this place. From there, we head to Mt. Nebo and consider this extraordinary friend of God! There we will not only behold what Moses only was permitted to gaze upon – the Promised Land of Israel; but we will soon enter! Then off to our hotel for a well-deserved rest.
We begin with a visit to arguably the most magnificent, reconstructed 2nd-century Greco-Roman cities in the Middle East: Jerash. Our study will focus on the world into which Jesus would send his disciples, a world, which in so many ways, was very like ours! Then north to cross the Sheikh Hussein border crossing into Israel and on to the Galilee! Our lodgings are at a tour favorite, the lovely Kibbutz En Gev on the eastern shores of the Galilee.
After breakfast George will find a special spot on the shores of the Sea of Galilee for a time of worship; it is Sunday! Then off to Nazareth making a few stops along the way, in fact we will be making several stops given that the Galilee is rich with Biblical locations. Although our study will move from the Old Testament to New Testament, given the sites we visit, our primary thoughts will be about Jesus as he grew from Mary & Joseph’s boy into the Man of God. (note: pre-breakfast dips are up to you & highly encouraged)
A phrase you’ll hear George say many times: “Let’s see what God gives”, but especially today; our day is packed with sites. We will make our way around the entire Sea of Galilee making stops at Capernaum, Chorazin, Bethsaida to mention only a few. Again, this will be one of the most site-packed days of the trip.
We leave the Galilee today and head south through the Jordan Valley on to the Dead Sea. If you are looking at a map you’ll see we will be passing by Jericho, the Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, Ein Gedi where David encountered King Saul and then to the magnificent Herodian fortress: Masada!
If yesterday we couldn’t fit a climb up Masada, then today we will as our study of King Herod begins. Then, we drive south through the wilderness of Paran toward Israel’s southern border. We visit the most northern section of the Sinai wilderness for a brief encounter with Pharaoh, Moses, and our ancestors of the faith.
Not many tours include a visit to Tel Beersheva where we think about our patriarchs and the covenant they made with the LORD. Before we arrive in Jerusalem, we have several stops in the Shephelah (what the foothills of the Judah mountains are called). Here we will have an opportunity to study several Old Testament characters like David and Samson. Our day concludes with a unique walk through the Old City of Jerusalem, our first encounter with this magnificent city.
An early start, a walk through the old city and then we travel south of Bethlehem to visit our 2nd Herodian fortress: the Herodian, where King Herod’s tomb was discovered. Then several stops in the Shephelah (the foothills of the Judah mountains). Our day culminates on the Mount of Olives with a walk along Via Dolorosa.
Our last day, and it’s a BIG one; off to the Israel Museum where we visit the famous Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed and our last walk through the old city. Then off to make our border crossing into Jordan and to Mt. Nebo where our tour began and now concludes. After a delicious farewell dinner and then off to Queen Alia International Airport for our journey home. Sheikh Hussein Border Crossing
