You’re invited to join us on a 6 day, all-inclusive Jordan Study Tour.
You will be immersed in the land and lessons of the Bible as you’re led on a journey through Scripture while your local guide and driver will bring the past and present culture of Jordan alive to all your senses.
Unlike other Holy Land tours, this tour is solely focused on bringing Scripture to life through first-hand experiences in the places the stories actually happened. An all-inclusive trip ensures you're free to focus on each moment without worrying about lodging, tips, transportation, entrance fees, food or water.
We’ve built into our study tours everything you need for an enjoyable and educational trip. We want you to be fully focused on the lessons and experiences you’ll encounter, and not be distracted by local tipping practices, transportation arrangements, or meal planning.
We believe that as a Study Tour participant you’re not a mere tourist—you’re an investment! This is evident from the moment you book your trip, through to the time you return home to share what you’ve learned with your friends and family.
Our seasoned guides and ministry partners do so much more than handle the details and keep things on schedule. Our local guides have personal experience and intimate knowledge of the places and events you’ll examine, and our ministry partner’s teachers have a shepherd’s heart and a passion for God’s word.
The guides have been so personable and so knowledgeable and so friendly. There's just never a bad day for these guys. They make you very comfortable throughout the trip.
— SteveWe got to walk the land and it made our bibles come alive, and my son being 17, he needed it to come alive. It solidified his foundation in his faith.
— JoeyGTI has done such a great job of taking care of everything... allowing us to feel at home and really focus on the things we needed to from the very beginning.
— JordanHebrews 11 has long been known as “Hall of Fame of Faith” because in and through the lives of these legendary people, God wrote His story, and He is not finished writing. The Story Continues through us! On this all-inclusive Biblical Study Tour, the Text comes alive as we journey to where the story begins in slavery, to where the enemy was defeated at Calvary, on to the Galilee where Jesus lived, learned, and taught, and then to the world where He sent His disciples to win for the Father’s Glory. A world, which in so many ways is not very different from our own. We will visit numerous World Heritage Sites, and, aside from our night under the stars, we will lodge at 4-star hotels or better. This is a premier tour, moderately to strenuously paced; very strong hiking shoes are recommended, along with a backpack capable of holding at least 2 liters of water– crucial for our Sinai overnight.
Most days, one should be prepared to hike 5-8 miles; however, if one needs to “punch out” for a hike, that will be okay. This trip is full of surprises, remarkable teachings, and insights, and has proven to be life-changing for past participants. We trust the same will be true for you as well as you experience the Bible come alive in remarkable and surprising ways!

Moses had been working with Jethro’s sheep for 40 years when God called him to shepherd His sheep, Israel. Here we will be thinking about the difference and similarities between Egypt’s shepherd Pharaoh and God’s shepherd Moses. We will have a taste of the Sinai wilderness as we make our way through the Aqaba mountains and Wadi Run.
It speaks for itself, a day with the flock. In the morning of this day participants will be divided into groups of 2 or 3 to spend a day with the shepherd and his/her flock. You’ll go out in the morning with the flock and return that evening; in most cases the shepherd will have little or no command of English, but that’s okay, smiles will communicate much as you experience a little of what and how God prepared David.
It’s hiking boots on; backpacks filled with water as we begin our daylong hike up and down Mt. Hor; the traditional burial place of Aaron Israel’s first high priest. With several stops along the way we consider the high call God has on us as leaders and the high call God has for His people through us as leaders. We stand on the shoulders of those who, with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, gave it all to God; now it is our turn to raise the next generation of faith in the great story of the Kingdom.
We leave Petra driving several hours north to the Nebo Mountain range. There George will pick a spot for us to debus to trek up those mountains in the hopes of experiencing something of what Moses did as he climbed Nebo for the last time. We’ll consider two topics as we climb; leadership transitions and how we might deepen our witness and work being God’s Shepherd Prophets.
We hesitate to say much about our 1st experience on this day and the reason for that is that the richness of it will be enhanced by your just coming prepared as George instructs and then working together. Arguably, the most challenging experience, this is a trip highlight! You will require strong shoes that will get wet; some use sneakers while others wear strong sandals like Teva’s or Chacos. The lesson: Nothing builds community stronger or faster than controlled chaos! Later in the day we consider David the shepherd king and the key to all godly leadership! Knowing the Shepherd’s voice.
Kings and Priests were anointed with oil, Prophets with the Holy Spirit, today we begin with what some scholars suggest was the anointing of our good shepherd Jesus as we visit the many suggest was John’s Baptismal site. Here we consider and discuss our calling and anointing as God men and women serving in His World. Then we move into the reality of our world by discovering something of the world into which Jesus sent his disciples: we visit the amazing Greco-Roman Decapolis city of Jerash! We will be organizing a late checkout with our hotel so we can freshen up and prepare for our journey home.
