You’re invited to join us on a 12 day, all-inclusive Israel Study Tour.
You will be immersed in the land and lessons of the Bible as you’re led on a journey through Scripture while your local guide and driver will bring the past and present culture of Israel alive to all your senses.
Unlike other Holy Land tours, this tour is solely focused on bringing Scripture to life through first-hand experiences in the places the stories actually happened. An all-inclusive trip you’ll be free to focus on each moment without worrying about lodging, tips, transportation, entrance fees, food or water.
We’ve built into our study tours everything you need for an enjoyable and educational trip. We want you to be fully focused on the lessons and experiences you’ll encounter, and not be distracted by local tipping practices, transportation arrangements, or meal planning.
We believe that as a Study Tour participant you’re not a mere tourist—you’re an investment! This is evident from the moment you book your trip, through to the time you return home to share what you’ve learned with your friends and family.
Our seasoned guides and ministry partners do so much more than handle the details and keep things on schedule. Our local guides have personal experience and intimate knowledge of the places and events you’ll examine, and our ministry partner’s teachers have a shepherd’s heart and a passion for God’s word.
The guides have been so personable and so knowledgeable and so friendly. There's just never a bad day for these guys. They make you very comfortable throughout the trip.
— SteveWe got to walk the land and it made our bibles come alive, and my son being 17, he needed it to come alive. It solidified his foundation in his faith.
— JoeyGTI has done such a great job of taking care of everything... allowing us to feel at home and really focus on the things we needed to from the very beginning.

Senior Pastor, Rob Ray, lives by this verse in his life and in his ministry. At the young age of 11 he gave his heart and life to Jesus Christ at a revival service in Memphis, Tennessee. At 16 years old, while attending church camp, Rob sensed God calling him to preach the gospel. He soon surrendered to the ministry and has served on staff at churches since he was 19. First Baptist Porter is fortunate to have Rob as Senior Pastor since 2011.
Sports were a big part of Rob’s younger life. He grew up playing baseball, basketball and football and went on to play baseball at the University of Tennessee at Martin. The Tennessee Skyhawk earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Accounting in 1981. He continued his education at Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary, receiving a Masters in Divinity in 1985.
During his freshman year at college, Rob met Ann Alexander. It wasn’t until the following year that they began dating. During their four years of dating, Rob popped the question…twice. Ann said no…twice. Eventually, Ann was the one wanting to get married and they finally tied the knot and have been happily married since 1982.
Ann graduated from the University of Memphis with a Vocational Home Economics degree with an Education endorsement. After staying home for more than 20 years to care for their four children, Ann began teaching. Four years later she decided to go to nursing school and is currently working as an acute care pediatric home health care nurse.
The Rays have been blessed with four children, Christinann Ray Gardner, Christopher Ray, Joshua Ray and Hunter Ray. Rob and Ann feel even more blessed to be the grandparents of Christinann and husband Shawn’s children, Kate, Reese, Corrie Ann, and Caleb, and the grandparents of Christopher and wife Holly’s children, Elias, Judah, Noah and Eliana! Even though Rob and Ann are happy to call Texas their home, Rob claims that if you cut him, he still bleeds Tennessee orange.
