Marshall Holtvluwer

Pastor, Covenant Life Church

Marshall Holtvluwer has been in ministry for over 25 years and currently serves as a pastor at Covenant Life Church in Grand Haven, Michigan. He received his bachelor’s degree from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI and his Masters of Divinity also in Grand Rapids, MI from Calvin Seminary. Marshall has been blessed to travel to the Holy Land as well as Turkey with the Rev. Ray Vander Laan. He has also been privileged to study at the Jerusalem University College where he learned more about the geography of the land where Jesus walked. Marshall has a passion for helping God’s people to see how the land plays a role in understanding the biblical message. Marshall, his wife, two daughters, and one son enjoy the beauty that the West Michigan coastline has to offer.

Bob DeVries

Pastor, Covenant Life Church

Bob DeVries serves as Co-Pastor at Covenant Life Church, currently with Marshall Holtvluwer. Bob received his Bachelor’s degree from Calvin College in History and Bible, and began his career as a middle school Bible teacher. Bob received his Master’s degree from Western Michigan University in Educational Leadership and was Principal for two Christian Schools, first in Grand Rapids, Mi. and later in Grand Haven, Mi. After leaving education for a successful career in business, God moved Bob to prepare for ministry. In 2007, Covenant Life called Bob to be their second pastor. Over the last 12 years, Bob and his wife, Barb, have led two groups to Israel and one group to Greece on a Paul’s Missionary Journey tour. They have a passion for teaching God’s Word and leading His people in worship. Bob and Barb have four children, two of whom are married, and four amazing grandchildren.
