You’re invited to join us on a 13 day, all-inclusive Egypt, Jordan, Israel Study Tour.
You will be immersed in the land and lessons of the Bible as you’re led on a journey through Scripture while your local guide and driver will bring the past and present culture of Egypt and Jordan and Israel alive to all your senses.
Unlike other Holy Land tours, this tour is solely focused on bringing Scripture to life through first-hand experiences in the places the stories actually happened. An all-inclusive trip ensures you're free to focus on each moment without worrying about lodging, tips, transportation, entrance fees, food or water.
We’ve built into our study tours everything you need for an enjoyable and educational trip. We want you to be fully focused on the lessons and experiences you’ll encounter, and not be distracted by local tipping practices, transportation arrangements, or meal planning.
We believe that as a Study Tour participant you’re not a mere tourist—you’re an investment! This is evident from the moment you book your trip, through to the time you return home to share what you’ve learned with your friends and family.
Our seasoned guides and ministry partners do so much more than handle the details and keep things on schedule. Our local guides have personal experience and intimate knowledge of the places and events you’ll examine, and our ministry partner’s teachers have a shepherd’s heart and a passion for God’s word.
The guides have been so personable and so knowledgeable and so friendly. There's just never a bad day for these guys. They make you very comfortable throughout the trip.
— SteveWe got to walk the land and it made our bibles come alive, and my son being 17, he needed it to come alive. It solidified his foundation in his faith.
— JoeyGTI has done such a great job of taking care of everything... allowing us to feel at home and really focus on the things we needed to from the very beginning.
— JordanHebrews 11 has long been known as “Hall of Fame of Faith” because in and through the lives of these legendary people, God wrote His story, and He is not finished writing. The Story Continues through us! On this all-inclusive Biblical Study Tour, the Text comes alive as we journey to where the story begins in slavery, to where the enemy was defeated at Calvary, on to the Galilee where Jesus lived, learned, and taught, and then to the world where He sent His disciples to win for the Father’s Glory. A world, which in so many ways is not very different from our own. We will visit numerous World Heritage Sites, and, aside from our night under the stars, we will lodge at 4-star hotels or better. This is a premier tour, moderately to strenuously paced; very strong hiking shoes are recommended, along with a backpack capable of holding at least 2 liters of water– crucial for our Sinai overnight.
Most days, one should be prepared to hike 5-8 miles; however, if one needs to “punch out” for a hike, that will be okay. This trip is full of surprises, remarkable teachings, and insights, and has proven to be life-changing for past participants. We trust the same will be true for you as well as you experience the Bible come alive in remarkable and surprising ways!

Our story begins at the Great Pyramids of Giza – many contemplate how the Egyptians built the pyramids; we will consider: Why did they built them? And why did God bring His people to Egypt, this “house of slavery”? After lunch we continue our study in one of Egypt’s incredible new museums.
Today is a day full of wonders; we wonder as we consider the magnificent stone Temples, the refreshing ribbon of life, the Nile and its fertile fields. Perhaps the greatest wonder: how our ancestors in the faith not only endured but flourished! Our time in Luxor is rich with surprises and a variety of “hands on” experiences as we engage the culture and the land all the while hearing and seeing the Text speak. Today we enter the world of Pharoah, Moses, and the Israelites.
After a relaxing morning and lunch, we make our way through the Sinai wilderness to traditional Mount Sinai – a trip highlight. It is here that we will mount camels for a ride to Mount Sinai; hopefully in time to see the sunset. We leave our camels to hike to our campsite under the stars where our Bedouin hosts are preparing our meal. On this day you will require a good backpack capable of holding a 2-liter bladder for water and with room for some extra clothes (Sinai nights can get a bit chilly – a hoodie or sweatshirt is encouraged). George describes our night under the stars as the “best worst night’s sleep you’ll ever have”. Gazing on the vast stars one cannot help contemplating our great God, His provision, leading and love. Those not climbing have the option of staying overnight at Morganland Hotel (they have the largest wading pool in all the Sinai!).
We are up with the sun, and after George’s teaching and breakfast, we pack up and begin our trek down through the Sinai mountains. A very special Bedouin lunch will be waiting for us at the Morganland Hotel before our bus ride north through the Sinai wilderness to Taba. For those who have the energy, you will have an opportunity to swim in the Gulf of Aqaba – we suggest you bring some swim goggles, the aquatic life is amazing.
Today begins with a border crossing into Israel and then a brief bus ride to Timnah Park where we discover ancient copper mines and a model of the Tabernacle. After lunch we head north to visit the first of three iconic Herodian fortresses: Masada! A priority for today is to make it back to our hotel so you will have the opportunity for a unique experience: a swim/float in the Dead Sea!
We journey north and east to Jerusalem but make several stops along the way. If available we visit the desert oasis En Gedi where David encountered King Saul, and/or Qumran where the famous Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. Then on to Jerusalem and a stop at the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book – home of the Dead Sea Scrolls! The day concludes with a very special walk through the old city of Jerusalem.
An early start, a walk through the old city and then we travel south of Bethlehem to visit our 2nd Herodian fortress: the Herodian, where King Herod’s tomb was discovered. Then several stops in the Shephelah (the foothills of the Judah mountains). Our day culminates on the Mount of Olives with a walk along Via Dolorosa.
We board our bus and head north, noting how the terrain changes; from harsh wilderness, shepherd’s fields, to the lush and fertile Jezreel Valley; we are going to Galilee! Making several stops along the way we enter the world of Jesus, where He grew up, lived, learned, and taught. The Sea of Galilee is our centerpiece – our hotel is on its shores! If we don’t get a chance to swim in the Sea of Galilee this evening, rest assured – George promises you will on another evening during our stay. (note: pre-breakfast dips are up to you & highly encouraged)
A great breakfast and an early start as we head through the Hula Valley on to Mt. Hermon, Isael’s most northern point. Much of the Biblical narrative occurs in this region so be prepared to hike as we learn while walking the land. On this trip you will experience Israel from its most southernly point to it most northern border – few get to see so much of the land!
Today our study revolves where Jesus grew up, learned His trade with His earthly father, Joseph and where He may have worked before His ministry as Rabbi. Then, around the Sea of Galilee visiting those sites that figure so prominent in the Gospels: Capernaum, Chorazin, and Tabgha just to mention a few.
An early start to a packed day, we leave the Sea of Galilee, cross the border into Jordan and head to the amazing Decapolis city of Jerash! This is perhaps the most reconstructed and best example of a Greco-Roman 1st/2nd century city in the entire Middle East! Here we discover the world of paganism, the world Jesus sent His disciples into; and here we learn that there really is nothing new under the sun – it’s very much like the world you and I live in today! As with the first disciples we learn we live in a similar world with the same powerful message. This evening will be your last chance to take a dip in the Dead Sea – enjoy.
Another early start, but so well worth it as we trace the journey of Israel from the land of slavery to the Land of Promise. Our first stop: Wadi Arnon, arguably the most demanding and deeply rewarding hike of the tour. This wadi walk involves getting wet and requires that one must be at least 18 years of age and wear either hiking boots or strong water shoes like sneakers; Chacos, Teva’s are also permitted. We will pick up our box lunch on the way to the 3rd of the 3 great Herodian fortresses: Machaerus! Our day concludes as we arrive in Petra and at one of the tour’s most unique hotels – a trip favorite.
Our last day, and it is a BIG one! We wake up in the Mountains of Sier, and the day begins with a walk into the beautiful Rose City: Petra! We learn about the Nabateans and how they were used of God to impact the Biblical story. George will lead the group to one of the most remarkable and best preserved “high place” in the entire Middle East. Those for whom this 1,000-foot climb might be too much, can relax and cool off in a Bedouin tent with Mohanned, our Jordanian guide. After the group reconnects, we will ride out of Petra… not quite as Indiana Jones did, we will ride a humbler animal, each on their own donkey. Then, south to the amazing and beautiful Wadi Rum, the setting for Lawrence of Arabia and many Star Wars scenes. Our trip concludes with a Farewell Bedouin Dinner, closing comments and blessing from George under the stars in Wadi Rum. Everyone will have opportunity to freshen up before our journey home. While our tour concludes, His Story continues in fresh and remarkable ways in and through us.
