It's been a few days since we returned from our study tour and hopefully you've been able to talk to one of us in person about what we saw, heard, learned, and experienced! Below is a wrap up video that serves as a nice summary of the trip and a reminder of all that we did. ...

From Temple Mount to Garden of the Tomb

posted on Friday April 11 2014 at 12:12 am UTC

Another early morning and another jam packed day here in Jerusalem. We started our day at the Temple Mount, inside the walls and on the 'gentile' portion of the plaza. This area is predominately Muslim as their mosque is the central focus of the square - on the sight when the Temple once stood. There...

We were up and at it early again today, but we had a lot of ground to cover here in Jerusalem. Our first stop was the City of David national park. This was the original portion of Jerusalem, built below the temple mount. From this park we were looking up at the walls of the temple. First they...

This morning we started out a little bit later than our normal 6 am. We got a whole 30 minutes more to sleep! It was good. We left our Kibbutz at Neve Ilan after a quick one night stay. Our first stop was a brief bus ride down the road to Yad Hashmona. This site was created to highlight the...

After a wake-up call at the now trending time of 6 a.m. and leaving at 7, we had devotions with Mr. Schenck out by the Sea of Galilee. After this we headed out to Mt. Arbel. After a grueling ascent and an encounter with an angry bull (short story), we reached the peak where we learned that this is the...

Find Your Day

posted on Saturday April 05 2014 at 2:10 am UTC

Last night found us at the Dead Sea Resort spot. We all had first class treatment. Our rooms were very comfortable and the dining was superb. It is easy to see why this lovely spot is a haven for weary travelers. Our morning started early again. Out the door at 7 am and a quick bus ride to the beach....

Petra

posted on Friday April 04 2014 at 3:30 am UTC

Today started early. Up at 6 am and out the door by 7 am. Our first stop was Mt. Nebo. This spot is significant because it is where Moses surveyed the Promise Land and is considered to be the place he died. We sat overlooking the Jordan River Valley while Todd led us in devotions out of Deuteronomy...
