John Ferret and his wife Robin were blessed with the opportunity to first study in Israel in June of 2000 and in Asia Minor (Turkey) in 2003. Upon their return friends asked John to teach at their churches what they learned on these Bible tours. From that the Lord literally sent John and Robin on a mission they did not want nor ever expect to have, to help many Christians, young and old, to reconnect to the historical foundation of our faith.

John is a licensed pastor and is co-founder and lead teacher with Light of Menorah Ministries. He has two master’s degrees and is known as a seasoned, enthusiastic and powerful teacher. Since the Lord has “given” this ministry to John and his wife, John has begun to study for his doctorate in the ancient Biblical history of the Middle East to enhance his expertise in this area. He has already taken courses in the archaeology, history, geography, and the customs of ancient Israel at Northwestern College, Jerusalem University College in Jerusalem, and is currently enrolled in the masters program with the American Institute of Advanced Biblical Studies in Little Rock, Arkansas.

John and Robin have traveled numerous times to the Middle East including Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey for study and research.  John leads Bible study tours to Israel and Turkey, and he is available for classes and workshops.  John also travels to Kenya and Uganda to teach many pastors and ministers who have an extreme interest in the Jewish roots of Christianity.
